Abstract: The standards for measurement of petroleum and liquid petroleum products issued by the government are used to guide and standardize measurement of oil products. Using an example of great errors in measurements of crude oil tanker caused by non-standard operations, this paper analyzes the causes of the errors, so as to make the measurement standards better adopted in practical operations and reduce measurement errors.
