二氧化硅胶体Zeta电位标准物质研制

    Development of Zeta Potential Reference Materials of Silica Colloid

    • 摘要: Zeta电位的准确测量对生物医药、工业生产、环境工程和食品制造等各个领域中产品的质量控制具有重要意义。目前我国Zeta电位标准物质的研究尚属空白。针对这一现状,研制了三种具有梯度量值的Zeta电位标准物质。首先,制备得到质量含量为2.5%,颗粒中心粒径约为80 nm的二氧化硅粒子分散液胶体,作为标准物质候选物。其次,对标准物质候选物进行均匀性、稳定性检验,均匀性和稳定性良好。最后,由具有能力的九家实验室组成网络,采用电泳光散射测试方法,对Zeta电位和电泳迁移率联合定值,并评定了标准物质的不确定度。三种标准物质的Zeta电位分别为−48 mV、−39 mV、−31 mV,扩展不确定度(k=2)分别5 mV、4 mV、3 mV;电泳迁移率分别为−3.7×10−8 m2V−1s−1、−3.0×10−8 m2V−1s−1、−2.4×10−8 m2V−1s−1,扩展不确定度(k=2)分别为0.4×10−8 m2V−1s−1、0.3×10−8 m2V−1s−1、0.3×10−8 m2V−1s−1。研制的Zeta电位标准物质,能够满足电泳光散射法Zeta电位分析仪定量分析过程中的校准验证需求,为我国科研和产业界胶体体系稳定性的定量分析提供了量值保障。

       

      Abstract: The accurate measurement of Zeta potential is of great significance for quality control of products in various fields such as biomedicine, industrial production, environmental engineering, and food manufacturing. At present, the research on Zeta potential reference materials in China is still blank. In response to this situation, in this work three zeta potential reference materials of silica colloid were developed. Firstly, reference material candidate meeting the requirements was selected, it was silica hollow particle dispersion colloid with mass content of 2.5%, central particle size of about 80 nm and no precipitation within the validity period. Secondly, the homogeneity and stability of reference material were tested and performed well. Finally, the zeta potential and electrophoretic mobility were jointly determined by nine capable laboratories using electrophoretic light scattering testing method. The zeta potential of three reference materials are −48 mV, −39 mV, and −31 mV, respectively, with expanded uncertainties (k=2) of 5 mV, 4 mV, and 3 mV, respectively; The electrophoretic migration rates are −3.7 × 10−8 m2V−1s−1, −3.0 × 10−8 m2V−1s−1, and −2.4 × 10−8 m2V−1s−1, respectively, with expanded uncertainties (k=2) of 0.4×10−8 m2V−1s−1, 0.3×10−8 m2V−1s−1 and 0.3×10−8 m2V−1s−1, respectively. The reference materials can meet the calibration verification requirements of Zeta potential analyzers in the quantitative analysis process, and provide value guarantee for the analysis of colloidal system stability in scientific research and industry in China.
