    Exploration on the Measurement Methods of Time Quantities for Medical Diagnostic X-Ray Radiation Sources

    • Metrological traceability of time-related parameters in the exposure process is required in the system design, production and quality control of medical diagnostic X-ray radiation source. Appropriate methods for the value transferring system should be established to meet the measurement requirements. By summarizing and analyzing the definitions, measurement methods, data accuracy requirements, inspection needs of the time–related parameters in the national standards, international standards, industry standards or specifications, the necessity of establishing measurement systems is demonstrated. The interrelation of the time-related parameters such as exposure time, irradiation time, loading time, and the measurement methods are clarified. A new measurement method for the value dissemination system is designed for irradiation time, according to the relevant national standards and international standards, the independent measurements of irradiation time and loading time are realized in principle; by analyzing the experimental results and uncertainty, The method of value dissemination based on loading time and the method of value dissemination based on irradiation time cannot substitute each other.
